A short safari can still have an unhurried rhythm. Rather than trying to cover several parks in three days, this Amboseli starting point gives you time in one landscape, with drives and breaks arranged around your interests.

The Amboseli Elephant Safari has a current guide price of USD 850 per adult, sharing accommodation. It is a planning figure; your quote confirms the final arrangements and total. Wildlife sightings and clear mountain views are never guaranteed.

Day 1: arrive and settle into the landscape

Begin at the agreed meeting point and travel towards Amboseli using the transport in your quote. Allow the arrival day to breathe: check in, meet your guide and discuss what you would most like to see. A first drive can be considered if the journey, arrival time and local arrangements allow it.

Before booking, confirm your collection point, expected transfer time and whether the arrival-day drive is included. A late arrival may mean starting your wildlife outings the next morning.

Day 2: wildlife drives, with a pause in between

Make this your main park day. Agree the outing schedule with the local guide and leave time to rest rather than treating every hour as driving time. Photography, elephants, birdlife or simply watching the landscape can shape the pace.

Ask which park entry fees, drives, vehicle arrangements, guide services and meals are included. Tell the team about mobility needs, children’s ages and any long periods in a vehicle that you would prefer to avoid.

Day 3: a final outing and onward travel

If departure arrangements allow, discuss a final drive before leaving. Keep the rest of the day realistic: transfers take time, and your onward plans should leave room for delays. Flights are excluded from the guide price; advise the team if you have already booked one.

Who this starting point suits

Consider it if you want a short wildlife-focused journey and prefer staying in one area. If you want to combine several parks, compare the longer Kenya Safari or other routes in the Kenya destination guide.

What to confirm in your quote

  • Your travel dates, party size and collection and drop-off points.
  • Accommodation, room sharing, meals and any single-room supplement.
  • Transport, park fees, guide arrangements and the number of drives.
  • Accessibility, dietary requirements and child arrangements.
  • Payment schedule, amendments and cancellation conditions.

All flights, visas, insurance, tips and personal spending are excluded from the guide. The itinerary is a flexible proposal, subject to availability. Open the journey and select Plan this journey to request your dates and a personal quote.
