An Eldoret-gateway highland escape with Iten as a practical base and locally agreed landscape stops. The itinerary gives the highlands time and space without promising specialist sport access or an expedition into remote valley terrain.
Your suggested 3-day journey
- Day 1: Meet at the agreed Eldoret gateway and transfer to your confirmed Iten-area accommodation. Review the local outing plan.
- Day 2: Explore suitable highland walks and agreed viewpoints with a local guide, adjusting pace and stops around the party.
- Day 3: Allow a final local chapter if time permits, then return to the agreed Eldoret-area endpoint.
Plan the details
Accommodation, local guiding, transport and permitted viewpoints must be confirmed. Paragliding, access to athletes or training facilities, remote valley drives and long-distance transfers are not included in this starting proposal.
Make the pace your own
Tell us your dates, walking preferences, party size and accessibility or dietary needs. We adjust the proposal around the actual overnight base, local access and realistic transfer times. A submitted enquiry does not reserve accommodation or activities.
Guide price and your written quote
The USD guide is per adult for the whole suggested itinerary, based on two adults sharing rooms and ground services where applicable. All flights, visas, insurance, tips and personal spending are excluded. The travel team itemises accommodation, meals, entry fees, guides, vehicles, transfers and any optional activities in the final written quote before you pay.
Starts/ends Eldoret with two Iten-area nights; Nairobi access and all flights excluded. Limit the proposed scope to Iten/highland viewpoints and permitted local walks until current valley-road/access conditions are checked locally. No elite athlete meeting, training camp entry, Rimoi safari or paragliding assumed. Optional running requires suitability and host confirmation.
